We are a small log-to-finish lumber operation, nestled in the heart of Amish Country.
Standing timber is purchased and harvested. The logs are cut on a sawmill into railroad ties, cants for pallet shops and grade lumber. A percentage of the Red Oak, Poplar, White Elm, Cherry and Walnut grade lumber is kiln dried. The waste slab wood is used to heat the buildings during the winter months.
Our (6) headed molding machine processes a semi-load of kiln dried lumber each week into cabinet front stock, drawer sides, bed sides, bed slats, crown mouldings, casing, baseboards and other profiles requested by our wholesale wood customers. These products are delivered on our own trucks within a 60-mile radius of the mill.
